An ozonator is a sanitation system that generates ozone in gaseous form that kills certain bacteria in the water. When operating, it creates surface bubbles at the outlet of the water returns. Some water returns may release more bubbles than others or not at all. It is also possible that the bubbles will jerk out.
Note that the ozonator will bubble even if it is disconnected, because the suction created by the plumbing system also draws air. If you open the box of your ozonator, you will find 2 to 4 generating cells, each with a green light indicating their proper operation. If your lights are not all green when the box is connected and working, bring it to a superstore for an evaluation. See our Repair Policy.
