A valve in my spa is making noise or leaking.

Remove the valve cover by pulling on it, which will put it under pressure (you can use a flat screwdriver to help). Then, tighten the cap on the bottom. A diverter valve connected to the pumps is loud since the water splits in two to circulate on each side of the valve, creating friction and an air gap inside the diverter valve, which causes noise.
